You have 3-5 years experience of media buying under your belt. You know the Google and Facebook advertising guidelines and industry best practices like the back of your hand. You are a campaign optimization jedi from Paid Search to Paid Social and more. SEO, web dev, creative design, & copywriting skills are a big plus. 

Role Description

As a Paid Media Manager at Magic, you’ll be the chief conductor of the Facebook and Google Ads Machine which runs on one type of fuel: results for our clients (thereby making the world a better place). When it breaks down, you’ll fix it, and be on the constant quest for audiences and keywords using small budget rapid prototyping to decide who stays on the train and who gets off. You’ll set up and optimize campaigns, and work closely with the strategist to ensure we make it to our destination: client success land.

The Paid Media Manager is the head honcho of…

Facebook Ads Management: 

  • Setting up and optimizing campaigns
    • Collaborating with the Account Manager to establish & execute strategy
    • Reviewing & optimizing campaign results
    • Measuring effectiveness of individual ad creatives & audiences using conversion tracking through Facebook Pixel
  • Manage ad spend
  • Find and test new audiences
    • Use market research as well as lookalike audiences. Collaborate with the Strategist and/or Account Manager to expand reach
  • Reporting on all Facebook ad results
    • Help the Account Manager to build client-facing reports that include detailed analysis of performance related to different audiences, creatives and strategies.
    • Take periodic calls with the client to give project updates and review performance

Google Ads Management:

  • Conducting keyword research
  • Managing ad spend
  • Building & optimizing campaigns including Search, Display, YouTube, and more
  • Using market research and strategic audiences to expand reach
  • Creating remarketing audiences using Google Tag Manager and/or Google Analytics as needed for use in Display campaigns.
  • Reporting on all Google ads results
    • Help the Account Manager to build client-facing reports that include detailed analysis of performance related to different audiences, creatives and strategies.
    • Take periodic calls with the client to give project updates and review performance.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years experience managing Facebook and Google ads campaigns.
  • Proficient with reporting and conversion tracking through Facebook Pixel and Google Analytics.
  • Up to date knowledge of Facebook and Google ads editorial guidelines and industry best practices.
